Sam Farmer stated web programming with Perl but ColdFusion 3.1 had him with cfquery.  As the ColdFusion language has grown so has Sam moving from purely procedural coding to object-oriented.  Sam has worked for non-profit associations, consulting firms, product companies and the federal government on everything from basic to mission critical applications.  He is a semi-regular blogger at samfarmer.com and can also be found on Twitter @sam_farmer.  Currently he is the Captain Technical Team at interfolio.com a portfolio and dossier product company in Washington, DC.  In his spare time he likes to code, watch and play soccer and spend time with his wife and two daughters.
