Josh Adams from Adobe will be at CFinNC teaching ColdFusion!
We've given Josh his own room and he's ready to roll! If you've never used ColdFusion bring your laptop and we will take you through getting it installed and covering all the basics. You will build your first ColdFusion application using ColdFusion Builder Beta and the recently released ColdFusion 9!
Synopsis
Join this hands-on session to tap into the power of ColdFusion, building on top of your existing HTML/CSS skills to take your websites to the next level. Still the easiest programming language to learn, the tag-based CFML in ColdFusion is the perfect complement to HTML. You'll learn how to dynamically create pages from a database and build Ajax-powered interfaces with the built-in UI controls in ColdFusion.
Prerequisites
None really…
…however, it will help if you have at least some knowledge of HTML, JavaScript, and/or a programming language
